Working Principle

As liquid passes through the meter, it spins a balanced turbine rotor at a speed proportional to the flow rate. A pickup
sensor detects the rotor’s motion and generates a frequency signal that the transmitter converts to engineering units.
The result is stable, real-time flow measurement with excellent repeatability.

Installation and Maintenance

The meter can be installed horizontally or vertically provided the pipe remains completely filled. For best accuracy,
include sufficient straight lengths upstream and downstream and ensure clean media. Maintenance is limited to periodic
inspection and cleaning of the rotor and sensor in applications where deposits may form.
